In February, I attended a meeting for the Austin Area Association of Speech Language Pathologists (AAASLP) to introduce this group to Special Needs Neighborhood.com and to describe our purpose.  I spoke briefly about the Web site and then the group invited me to remain for the next presentation.  I am so glad that I stayed.

 On Wednesday, March 18, 2009, we celebrated our one year anniversary for Special Needs Neighborhood.com.  As we toasted our community, we reflected on our first year and we thanked all of you who support and inspire us to keep reaching out to more and more communities about Special Needs Neighborhood.com.

After a week off, we are back to work here at Special Needs Neighborhood.com.  Springtime is upon us which means check out our Events pages regularly for fun-filled carnivals, fundraisers and outdoor activities for our kiddos.  Also, plan to visit Special Needs Neighborhood.com often for information being added about summer camps and programs.
