| October 10 10 | 2010 Austin Walk for Children With Apraxia of Speech
Where: Springwoods Park 9117 Anderson Mill RD Austin, TX 78729 Austin's first walk for Childhood Apraxia of Speech!!! Children with Apraxia are very intelligent, but they have difficulty producing and sequencing oral movements for speech. It is difficult for these children to make the mouth, tongue and jaw move together to form sounds, syllables or words, making their speech unintelligible. Thanks to Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA), the only national non-profit organization of its kind, families can receive support and education needed to help with their child's journey. |
