Question: I am a mother of a 2 year old boy who has bilateral Cochlear Implants. I am in desperate need of some speech therapy for him. He sees ECI but I don't feel he is getting what he needs. I live in the Fort Hood area and there isn't many options. If anyone could please help me find some place that I can take him to help him listen, talk, or even sign it would be greatly appreciated! I am willing to drive anywhere for services! Oh, and he has had the implants for almost a year and I am not having any luck. Anytime I ask for resources I am pushed aside and never given any help.

My daughter has bilateral Cochlear Implants too. She sees Janet Folmer and Lisa Flamiglietti at Central Texas Speech Pathology Services located in Austin. The phone number is 512-327-5317. I like both therapists and my daughter has made good progress working with them.
