Question: The Austin Area Association of Speech-Language Pathologists (AAASLP) gives a Client Scholarship of up to $500 each year to a client who is receiving services (either school-based or private) from a member of our organization. If a parent in the Austin area would like to apply, please ask your child's speech pathologist if he/she is a member of AAASLP. If he/she is, ask if she would be willing to submit your child's name for consideration for the scholarship. The due date for the application from the speech therapist to the AAASLP committee is April 9th.

Just curious, what is the scholarship for?

The scholarship is up to $500 - will be determined in April. It must be applied by a member of AAASLP and the parent can spend it as she sees fit.
