Question: Does anyone know of social networks in the Austin/Central Texas area for adult with special needs? I have a 19 y/o son who is mildly mentally challenged and loves to socialize. His peers at our Church totally ignore him. He has a "Myspace" even though he cannot read or write and (his computer reads to him and we write his e-mails) He has cultivated several friends in the music industry in Austin and they seem to be more accepting. We have even built a stage at our place and had a live concert for some of his friends. If I cannot find a network I will form one myself. If you have any intrest in meeting in the Austin area for concerts, boweling, movies or an occasilnal concert at our place (we live in the country next to Down Home Ranch)just e-mail me Joe Potts joseph1313@eccwireless.com
