Question: I am currently moving to the Austin (southwest) area and am looking for a good day hab for my 23 year old son with multiple disabilities. He does not speak (very much) but is fairly high functioning (toileting, eating, dressing). He would need constant supervision, help with most tasks (staying focused) and have activities to keep him busy and to continue learning. Does anyone have any ideas, contacts etc...? I would rather not have him in a large program - 10 to 15 people in the program would work best for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! mcmullic

Hi! I am a day hab provider in Austin. I am in the North area but STS does transport to my location or maybe we could work something out. You are welcome to come and check us out. We are quite a bit smaller than the other day habs in the area. We have two locations though on Howard Lane. One is for our younger active bunch and the other is for our seniors or ones who do not like alot of noise. Our website with all contact information is www.delnorm.org.

BTW We have 7 clients at one location and 9 at the other.
