Question: My name is Johna Boone and I'm looking for a school for my son. He has adhd and does not do good in public schools. I'm wanting to know if there are any schools in Austin that deal with special needs kids. He is 14 years old. I was going to home school him then I got a job offer that I really need to take. At this point we live on his dissibility checks and there is not enough money. I want to put him in a school where he can't get more one on one or where he can work at his own pace. Hi Johna, I recommend the Khabele School located in downtown Austin. It's a small, private school with lots of hands-on projects for kids who may learn differently.
