The Rise School of Austin is devoted to educating young children in preparation for their next learning environment. Children with special needs are educated with their typically developing peers in an inclusive setting - with a therapy-based curriculum. The Rise School accepts children ages 14 months up to 6 years. Students attend from 8-2:30 daily. There is a low ratio of students to staff. Typically, there are three children to each staff member. However, the presence of therapists, practicum students from local Universities, and volunteers allows for more individualized attention - resulting in greater progress. The Rise School of Austin is open to the community the last week of every month for tours of their program. Call for an appointment to see the Rise staff in action.
