All parents with special needs kids should have a look at the incredible work being done at the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential. They have been helping brain-injured children (among whom they include dsylexic, Down’s syndrome, ADD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, autistic, epileptic, and many other disorders). Our daughter was diagnosed as austistic, severly learning disabled, ADD, by the best neurologists and experts we could find, but only the IAHP were able to provide us with a full nutritional, physical, physiological, intellectual, and social program that has made a huge difference in her ability to communicate (not to mention the fact that she has not been ill for over 3 years). If you are interested in solutions and not just diagnoses, contact the Institutes through their website: www.iahp.org. The first book you should pick up is “What to Do About Your Brain-Injured Child”, by Glenn Doman (available in some area bookstores). If you are seriously interested in the Institutes’ programs, feel free to email me at myefrat@gmail.com
